about

2014 Remix

Fragments, Interviews and Imagination predates social media and the digital age.

I remembered my almost forgotten work Fragments, Interviews & Imagination from 1997. I wondered if it could still be relevant; could it still uphold some significance in today's world? So, I searched for it and found it.

In 1997, I used a portable cassette recorder to conduct the interviews and I had to work side by side the sound engineer, Mark M. Bell, to implement my meticulously organized segements of excerpts, sound designs and compositions. The piece was presented as a 'sound installation' at the Access Theatre and Gallery on White Street in downtown Manhattan, June 1997
